Edmonde Estimé Compere was born on November 12, 1964, to Dieuseul Estimé and Fracilia Cédumé. She attended Le Bon Berger School and Lycée Sténio Vincent, where she met Kédy Compere in 1983. Their friendship blossomed into a lifelong love, and they were married in 1989.
In 1984, Edmonde moved to Port-au-Prince to continue her studies. She graduated in Cosmetology and Culinary Arts in June 1988. A woman of strong character, she was loving, generous, and always willing to help others.
Edmonde gave her life to Christ in 1987 and remained faithful to God and her church. She served actively in the church kitchen in Saint-Marc and continued serving at Worshippers House of Prayer after coming to the United States. She loved God deeply and continually encouraged others to attend church and draw closer to Him.
For many years, Edmonde courageously faced health challenges. After suffering a massive stroke on April 18, 2014, she endured many difficult years. Throughout her journey, her beloved husband, Kédy, remained faithfully by her side, providing love, care, and unwavering support.
Edmonde peacefully departed this life on August 17, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, courage, service, and devotion to God.
