Joanne Kintz

KINTZ, JOANNE CAROL VAUGHN, 81, Pensacola, FL. Joanne passed away peacefully at West Florida Hospital on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Pensacola, FL. She was born in Miami, FL on August 5, 1939 to Harry E Vaughn Sr. and Imogene Griffis Vaughn. Joanne attended Miami Senior High School and received her Associate of Science in Corrections from Pensacola Junior College. Joanne retired from the Community Action Program (Head Start) in Pensacola after thirty years of service. Joanne loved listening to country music, traveling , fishing, visiting the beach, and horses. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Harry E Vaughn, Jr., and a sister, Ernestina Brown. Joanne was the youngest of six children. She is survived by sisters, Marilou Shea of Leesburg, FL and Helen Cleveland of Miami, as well as a brother Eugene Vaughn of Leesburg, FL, her son, Jaimie Kintz (Nicole) of Pensacola, FL and her daughter, Cheri Kintz-Roberts (Tonya) of Auburn, AL. She has six grand children, Jeremy Kintz (Jessica), Tyler Kintz, Jesse Kintz, Austin Kintz-Roberts, Lucas Kintz-Roberts, and Kelsey Kintz-Roberts and two great-grandchildren. Joanne will be greatly missed and loved by all. Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Southern on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 10:00am to noon with a graveside service following at Caballero Rivero Dade North located at 1301 NW Opa Locka Blvd., Miami. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local humane society.
