Lorli (pronounced like "lollipop," as she would say) May Joseph Pagano passed away the morning of June 8, 2025, at the age of 51. Born June 14, 1973, in Freeport, Bahamas, Lorli was a proud Haitian-American and lifelong South Florida resident.
She dedicated her life to, and was the backbone of, her family, which always included a furry friend or three. She was a dedicated homemaker, compassionate caregiver, and ever-patient pet parent.
A woman of intelligence and determination, Lorli earned her bachelor’s degree and used her education to impact the lives of those she cared for deeply. Her commitment to helping others reflected the love and strength that defined her character.
Lorli departed this life at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. She resided near the town of Miami Lakes with her beloved husband, Thomas Pagano, who survives her. Together, they shared a beautiful life and were blessed with a cherished daughter, Alissa Pagano, who was the light of Lorli’s life and her proudest joy.
She will be remembered for her selflessness, her nurturing spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her family and community. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that Lorli’s impact will live on in the countless lives she touched.
Her life was a testament to grace, service, and enduring love. May she rest in eternal peace.
