Mary L. Butler Stanley A.K.A Mammie

Born on October 31st, 1938, to the late David Butler and Carylena Mitchell.

The youngest of seven siblings born in Dublin, Georgia. Mary lost her mother at a very early age but with her father and help of her three sisters: Christine Milline (deceased), Ruthie Mae McDowell (deceased), Lucinda O'neil (Eugene(deceased) of Miami Gardens, Florida. Three brothers: Alvinelle Butler(deceased), Richard Butler(Frances) of Miami Gardens, Florida, Ellis Butler(Lizzie)deceased.

She attended Montford Grove and Mount Tillim Church School. Moved to Miami, Florida in 1956, in 1959 married her first love Prentice Stanley. Over 61 years, God gave them 4 children. Aaron Stanley(deceased) Linda, William D. Stanley (Vivian), Gena D Stanley-Burt (William), Kelvin K. Stanley (Kisha) all of Miami, Florida.

To them was born a host of grand and great grandchildren. All of Miami, Florida, Georgia and Washington State.

She worked briefly at Florida State Hospital, Sewell Plastics Bottle Company, finally retiring from Publix Supermarkets Warehouse, Miami.

She enjoyed fishing, all forms of gaming and lots of family gatherings. She spent time traveling with family to Georgia and going on cruises.

God called her home to b in His Personal Care on November 11th, 2020. When he called her home for her eternal rest leaving behind a hard working, loving husband Prentice Stanley. In-Laws Wilkie Stanley(Beatrice(deceased), Mobbie Stanley(Lucinda(deceased), Robert Stanley(Hazel). And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
