Muriel Elaine Lewis was born in Kingston Jamaica West Indies April 1, 1932. She was the oldest of five children born to Linval and Louise D'Oyen. She attended St Georges Girls School, passing the Jamaica local examinations to further her studies, she attended Kingston Technical College.
Elaine met and fell in love with Emile Lewis, whom she married on February 14, 1953. Their happy union produced three boys, Richard, Howard, and Peter.
Elaine is cherished in memory by her sister Velma, her brother Linval, her sons Richard, Howard, and Peter. Granddaughter’s LaTasha, Tiffani, Nicole and grandson Christopher.
She leaves behind a legacy of unselfish love and absolute love and caring, concern for everyone’s wellbeing. She will be sorely missed and will live on in the hearts and minds of those that loved her.
