Our deepest sympathy to Bona and family, along with our prayers that they’ll find the strength to deal with their loss and the courage to move on.

We also pray for the repose of Rollie's soul, a person with a golden heart, not denying his knowledge and expertise when I asked him for help with my homework in Trigonometry when we were in college.  Yes, we went to the same university and attended the same school for our elementary and high-school education.  We were also classmates in Kindergarten.

He gave me and my husband a ride during our reunion in 2015, even dropping us off each time at the resort where we were staying.  He entertained us with his jokes, making us laugh that left a mark in our memories and our hearts, including my husband’s.

He’s not only a good friend, but a loving family man as well.  After we reconnected on Facebook, he asked for a good Pinakbet recipe because Bona loves it, he said.  That’s how much he cared for the love of his life who has always been devoted to him as well, caring for him until the end.  Rollie may be gone, Bona, but we’ll always be there for you.  We’re just an e-mail away.  Don’t hesitate to ask, Bona.  After all, you’re family: a member of our QPS family.
