William E. “Bill” Rooks, age 97, of Maitland, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, parents, Philip and Anne Rooks, and brother, Victor Bert Rooks.
He is survived by his brother, Gerald Rooks (MJ); son Alan Rooks and daughter Jacquelyn Lynn Clement (Jerry) with his first wife, Patricia; son Stephen Rooks (Robyn) and daughter Kim Rooks with his second wife, Virginia; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bill worked all his life as an engraver and was widely recognized for his artistic talent and skilled craftsmanship. When not working, he enjoyed deep sea fishing and bowling. He was a devout Christian and left this world secure in the knowledge that he would be spending eternity in Heaven.
