Arthur Woodruff, 86, of Palm Springs, Fl. passed away February 20, 2015.He was born in Jackson, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a Masters degree in Social Work. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served two combat tours during the Korean War.Upon his arrival in Palm Beach County in 1968, he began a career as a Social Worker/ Counselor with the Palm Beach County School system that spanned 30 years.
He is survived by 6 sons:Dick (Jo-Anne) of Hillsborough, N.C., Mark (Amy) of Albany, Oregon, Mitch (Debbie) of Loxahatchee, Fl., Tim (Dianne) of Loxahatchee, Fl., Bruce of Tallahassee, Fl and Scott of Gainesville, Fl., 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Lorelei.
A viewing will be held at Howard Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US 1, North Palm Beach, Fl. Saturday February 28, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. to 3 P.M. with a service at 3:00 P.M.
