Aunt Bonnie was an angel on earth whose heart radiated like the sun, touching everyone she met. I will always love you! I painted this picture in Bonnie's  honor.

Bonnie was such a sweet and wonderful person. Thank you for sharing her with us. I remember sleepovers during card games, Christmas gift exchanges, and our last gathering in Vegas. The Rushes were always a part of our family. Bonnie and Mom were inseparable. The daily phone calls kept my mom going and gave her something she could count on. I remember calls from Bonnie when she could not get Mom, so I know how precious they were to Bonnie as well. 
Losing a member of the family like Bonnie leaves a huge hole, and I pray that God will find ways to fill that hole with memories and love. She gave to everyone around her with a never ending  wealth of  patience, love , and joy.  My love and thoughts are with you as you go through these painful days of letting go. She will be first in line to greet us when we go to join her and she will have that wonderful smile and her loving hug to give us once again.

Jerry, Holly, Tracy,  family and friends.  I remember Bonnie always
cheerfull and happy when she was surrounded by family and friends. 
That's how she was when we first met some 60 years ago and never changed.  I have always  considered myself a member of your family.
You can be proud of her in your memories, because most of the people she met would loved to be a part of the family as well.  From the day that you Jerry and Bonnie married she never changed (well maybe a little)  Only one time did I hear her tell you NO, she wasn't moving to Florida!  Some time later, 40 yrs later, she was still in Florida and never wanted to be away from her family.  We were present for their 40th anniversary which surprised both of you, however Holly and Tracy were not.  The last time I talked with Bonnie was on Aug 22, this year.  Bonnie and I always talked about the past, and of course she also received a birthday card.  This was a ritual, as she and I both had the same date birthday, although she was 4 years older.  Time does fly by quickly,  I will miss her and remember her this coming Aug 22.   Our love to your family.  She is at peace now and with her LORD and SAVIOR.  OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCE  to you and the girls.

I will miss my dear friend Bonnie but will treasure my memories of our lifelong friendship and the times we shared.  Girl Scouts together, singing in the church choir, attending her wedding and being baptized together at the Sheffield Lake Congregational Church,  Our gathering with friends and sharing as new mothers at our "hen parties"  Those friendships have continued through the years. Mrs. Rush was like a second mother to me me and Holly we’re best friends in high school she always took us to the Rollarena she always took us to the movies and gave us rides to school. She will be missed truly may you rest in peace mom rush I love you.        Penny Schroeder ❤️❤️

Dear Uncle Jerry, Holly, Tracy and families,
I am so saddened and sorry for your loss. Aunt Bonnie was a light in my life and will continue to be for as long as I live. 

Uncle Jerry, when you and Aunt Bonnie were dating, you babysat us Pirc kids. We loved when you did because you were fun and cool and treated us like people, not children. That's a favorite memory of mine.

There are not enough words that can express how much Bonnie and Jerry mean to us. What started as neighbors grew to a friendship filled with love and laughter. She is someone I refer to as a best friend, confidant and my voice of reason. She would answer my call no matter what time of day or night and this is one thing that can never be replaced. We know she is watching over all that she loved so much. Our hearts are heavier  and we will cherish all of the times we shared. 

Always made me laugh! Sharing meals with our Bon Bon made for some great times. You will forever be in my heart. Until we meet again my friend.
