Carl was employed by Chevron Oil in Perth Amboy, NJ for 40 years in a supervisory capacity. Carl and his wife celebrated his 60th anniversary in May of 2014. They traveled extensively to Europe, Rio de Janeiro and Australia.
Carl was predeceased by his son Curtis 35 years ago, his parents Erich and Margaret Nurnberger and brother E. Paul Nurnberger.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, daughters Debra J. Nurnberger and Elyse Meany; grandson, Skyler Meany, and sister Marion Schimpf of Toms River, NJ.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 23, from 4 to 7pm, with a Funeral Mass following at 7pm, at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter FL 33458.
Burial will be held in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Hopelawn, NJ.
