Debra L. Metcalf

"Debbie" was born on December 1, 1959 to Louis and Janice Denson in Germany, while her parents were serving our country in the Armed Forces. She passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach, Florida. In between sunrise and sunset, was a complete life with family, friends, art, culture, and compassion.

Debbie spent more than twenty-five years in the travel industry working as an airlines stewardess; travel agent; travel agency manager; and as owner of her own travel agency, Fairway Travel/ She finished her career by working for the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

Debbie took great pride in her career but it was her family that filled her with pride and she loved that part of her life the most.

Cherishing and celebrating the memory of this incredible woman is her loving and devoted husband of twenty-two years Kenneth; her precious daughter, Devin Nelson and son-in-law, Mark (Texas); her brother, David Denson (Florida); her niece, Sydney Denson (Texas); her Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Robert Winemiller (Pennsylvania); and a loving host of cousins, in-laws, and friends. Debbie also left behind her longtime beloved pet Petey, our dog.
