Dolores A. Roberts

It is with saddened hearts that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mother, Dolores Ann Roberts on March 24, 2016. She was born on Feb. 16, 1927 and was the only child of Alvin and Martha Westphal. She grew up in Moline, Illinois, and attended the University of Wisconsin where she met her husband, Bruce Owen Roberts. They were married in 1948 until his passing in 1992. Dolores resided most recently in Westport, CT and Singer Island, Fl. She has resided full time on Singer Island for the last six years. She studied music and loved to sing and dance. She was a member of the Tri delta sorority and maintained friendships through the sorority up until her passing. She was actively involved with The First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir just a few months before passing. She was one of the original members of Old Marsh Golf Club. She was also a member of the Norton Museum of Art and loved attending musical plays at the local theaters.

She leaves behind two special children, Dianne Lynn Caporale and Gary B. Roberts, a Son-in-Law and Daughter-in-Law, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was a very loving and giving person who was always positive and caring. Along with these beautiful traits she was also a very strong woman. She will be missed very, very much.

There will be a viewing and Memorial Service at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Center on Monday, March 28 beginning at 1:00 PM. The Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Trust Bridge Health Hospice, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
