Dr. John Ignatius Cardillo, age 97, was born in Bronx, New York. He graduated from Evander High School and Manhattan College, both located in the Bronx. He received his degree from the Georgetown Dental College as an oral surgeon.
Dr. Cardillo practiced as an oral surgeon at his office located on Eastchester Road, in the Bronx, for 35 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing golf, teaching the dental students at Columbia University and spending the weekends at his Roxbury, CT summer home.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alma; his daughter Lisa Campbell, her husband William Campbell and their daughter Caroline Campbell; his daughter Brigitte De Luke and her sons, Dr. Louis De Luke and Dr. Nick De Luke; daughter in law, Colleen Cardillo and her son, John Cardillo III.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Cardillo II.
