Ms. Linda Lee Haynie, 69, of Palm Beach Gardens passed away on May 6, 2011. Linda was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 16, 1941 to Roscoe G. Haynie and Delpha P. Haynie. She is preceded in death by her father.
Prior to moving to Palm Beach Gardens, Linda was a long-time resident of Deerfield, Illinois. She worked for Topco Associates, Inc. for many years, finishing her career as Director – Grocery/Non-Foods in 2003. After retirement, Linda continued her devotion to the arts, traveling, and her many good friends. She was a graduate of DePauw University.
Survivors include her mother Delpha Haynie of North Palm Beach, brother Kenneth H. Haynie of Des Moines, Iowa, nephews Steven Haynie, North Palm Beach, Florida, Thomas Haynie, New York, New York, and James Haynie, Ipswich, Massachusetts.
Services for Linda will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Lost Tree Chapel, Lost Tree Village, North Palm Beach, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Orphans of the Storm in Riverwoods, IL.
