He worked as a tool and die maker at the Budd Company in Philadelphia and at GM in Trenton, NJ. He was a devoted and beloved husband to his wife Bernice (Bea) and father to Gina and Michael Sklar, and Janice Halpern, brother to Bernice and Irvin Gold, and uncle to Gail and Bernard Goldstein, Arthur and Helene Gold, Richard and Krickett Halpern, and Judy and Ron Halpern-O'Neal.
He joins his dearly departed parents, Joseph and Gertrude Halpern, sister Sylvia Milner, and brothers Jack and Leonard Halpern.
Services will be held at the Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home in Jupiter, FL, at 11:00 am, Friday, July 25, 2014 and a graveside service will be held at Star of David Cemetery, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, at 1:30 pm, Friday, July 25, 2014.
