This is Nancy in her freshman year at Stephen’s.. we were in the same dorm..I remember Nancy always with a twinkle  in her eye ( maybe alittle mischievous) .when I visited her in Cocoa she took me to the beach, skiing on the river, to Carvel’s. And, I remember her totaling her dad’s 442..I was
Looking her up for when I come to Cocoa this January…. But sadly learned of her passing.
To her family, please accept my deepest condolences .. she is one of those bright stars shining down from above.


So sad to hear of Nancy’s passing. We went to school together and I remember her as a sweet and caring person.  Bless her family and friends in their time of sorrow. RIP Nancy.

Dear Nancy. The world isn't quite the same without you.  I'm so blessed to have known you.  I know God loves having you in the house.

Gracie misses here mommy so very much, and we try hard to continue the activities they loved doing together--like throwing the ball at the beach over and over again.  I believe she is as happy as she can be without Mommy Nancy.


I am so saddened to recently hear of Nancy’s transition.she was a special and unique person. We worked together as social workers in several settings and I always respected and admired her caring compassionate and professionalism. We did the LL Disney marathon and I’ll never forget her doctors seeing her running down Flagler when she was supposed to be in her hospital room while getting chemo. Then I would see her biking in Jupiter on weekends. She had a zest for life and was loved by many, including me.  I will always remember her with a smile and warm heart.

I have recently been informed about the loss of Nancy.  I’m sorry for the loss of your sister and Ali for the loss of your mother.  I still have many memories of our times when we were all together as a family.  Nancy and I had a lot of good times together.  We traveled and she was willing to go anywhere,  With her I learned to see life from a different perspective and I became a kinder, more understanding person.  All my love for the family.


My family moved next door to the Arnolds in 1964 when we moved from Kansas City to Cocoa. My sister Sue and Nancy became close  almost immediately and remained friends through the years.  My wife and I visited Nancy and Mark while they were caretaking a yacht on the Red Sea in Egypt and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company although she desperately missed Allison.  Her brother Carl just shared the news of her passing and I write this with a heavy heart.  RIP.  Love you.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of Nancy Arnold. 

Though I hadn’t seen Nancy in several decades, we knew each other well in the mid 80s.  I remember her infectious smile, her optimistic outlook on life and her caring attitude.  She was a special person and I’m sure her memories will live on each day through the people who knew Nancy.

I want to express condolences to the family on your loss from all of the Dixon family in Cocoa.  I remember Nancy from when she and Allison lived on the street behind us in Cocoa.  Also when she worked at the dive shop on Merritt Island.  I took scuba classes there and went on dives with her. Her big smile and happy outlook made knowing her a pleasure.

I will remember those times and I appreciate her family friendship with ours over the years.

We miss Nancy and Gracie boppin up and down the beach with matching friendly smiles!  The beach lost a little bit of sunshine.

Energetic.  Empathetic.  Intelligent.  Nancy was a force of nature.  Always in motion - walking the beach, riding her bikes, out to see friends at concerts or shows or simply for dinner.  When she finally rested, it was with a book in hand.
She was a blessing to her clients, and to her friends.  She loved her daughter and was happiest when they  travelled together. 
A special memory - Nancy officiated at my marriage (with Grace and Katie, our witnesses)!
I miss her every day.

My condolences to Nancy’s family and friends. May you find peace in each other’s support and happy memories. Of the Arnold family I have met, I must say that their parents did a great job raising them and would like to thank them for doing so.

I had the privilege of working with Nancy in 2 settings- hospice and mental health.  I will remember her as a spunky, intelligent advocate, who was full of life and devotion.  We shared intimate moments with the patients and families we served.  And in these moments, I saw her drive and compassion.  We also shared the love for our families and enjoyed reveling in our active lives outside of work.  Nancy did not take life for granted.  I will remember her and live by her example.  Nancy, I am grateful to have known you and to have called you my friend.  Rest in  peace, until we meet again. - Cat       

Nancy was a wonderful friend, and I miss her so much. We had many  fun adventures together. . Nancy and I were in each other’s wedding, we visited her grandmother  and also the Hill’s house in the mountains. Of course there were many trips to Orlando to shop and eat out.  One time Nancy and her brothers let me go out for a cruise in their boat. They all patiently tried to help me learn how to ski. I was a dud with that!  My those were the good old days.   Love to all of you and keep those good memories. 

Nancy...A "Little" Lady with a big heart, big smile and big presence. We met at the gym in Stuart, FL when I moved from NY. You were my first friend in the area. So grateful for the many times, laughs, drinks, dinners, events, and conversations we shared over 15 years. Your courage, resilience and "can do" attitude in the face of your physical challenges always inspired me. You touched my life  Nancy in many ways and you will remain forever in my heart. I've no doubt your brightly shining spirit is lighting up the heavens.

Dear Nancy, I always thought of you as my big sister. You had such a positive impact on my life at a really tough time. You have the most beautiful smile and you light up a room with your presence. Your whole family has touched my life in many ways and I feel blessed but I know their heart is broken like mine. I know you will light up heaven and my parents will be so happy to see you as many others. You lived a great life, raised a great daughter and the world was a better place with you in it. I love you with all my heart.

It’s always so sad when a childhood friend passes away. I will always remember her beautiful smile.

I still cannot believe that Nancy is gone.  I knew her mostly from church when I was growing up, as well as the rest of the family.  To me, she will always be a part of Cocoa, and the memories I have of her will live on forever.  Every time I see a recent photo of her, she reminds me so much of her beautiful mother, who was so loved by many.  She will certainly be missed.

Sundays with Nancy..
Many Sundays, a small group of us would ride our bike to the Breakers Hotel and have coffee in the courtyard. Nancy was always concerned about how everyone was around her and had a tremendous talent for listening. I had the pleasure of also sharing time with her in Majorca and really remember her smiling and really happy to be in such a beautiful place.  Her spirit will definitely be missed❤️❤️ Love you Nancy and lil Grace too💕💕RIP

Feisty, opinionated, gracious, and beautiful, you  brought joy to my life for 20 years.

We “got along on and off the bike, “you used to say. And then we would laugh because we knew how rarely that happens. 

Thank you for being like a sister to me and a loving guide to my children. Your wisdom and love helped me through plenty of rough patches over the years. 

Know that you were deeply loved, and that my memories of you are held close to my heart.

Your joy for life made it so easy to become such good friends with you so quickly. You welcomed everybody into your life with your whole heart and soul.  Your vivacious personality and dazzling smile drew me to you right away. You were always the first one there when someone needed assistance and you would do anything without hesitation for a person in need.
I will treasure all our adventures together. With Grace by our side we visited restaurants, concerts, movies, shopping, book club, museums, beaches and parks. Anything new to try, we were there. 
We drank countless glasses of wine and champagne (never prosecco) on many occasions. You were an amazing cook and you made me some of your family's favorite recipes. We got to know each other's family and friends and even shared several holidays together. 
I miss you so much my dear friend. I wish we had more time for more adventures. Until we meet again, rest in peace. 

I will always remember the day we met, you popped into my office with that infectious smile and warm personality welcoming me to the hospital. 
Overtime we developed a deep-seated, warm friendship, meeting for weekend lunches at our favorite restaurants, happy hour cocktails with Ms. Gracie at your side and meaningful talks over the phone like two obscure sorority sisters. 
I will always cherish our friendship and everything that you came to mean to me. You are forever my amazing, elegant, bright friend.

I met you when I moved to Juno 5 years ago. You were always very kind to me. You approached me with that lovely smile and Gracie by your side. When my Cassy passed away last year you came by to say goodbye because as a dog lover you knew what she meant to me. I pray that you are at peace and thank you for your kindness.
