OBERG, SR., Ronald E, age 87 passed away peacefully, November 28, 2018, at Trust Bridge Hospice, with his family at his side. Ronald was born in Chicago, IL. He married his high school sweetheart. He joined the Air Force and served during the Korean War. Shortly after his discharge, they moved to North Palm Beach, FL. He started his own business, Ron Oberg Wallcoverings in 1970, with the same knowledge, honesty and integrity handed down to him from his father. He had a great love for music which always filled the house, and of course his whistling which he was known for. He enjoyed his time on the ocean fishing and diving with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Rennie, his son Ronald, Jr. (Kelly), his daughter Tyra along with his grandchildren, Christopher, Leigh-Ann and Ronald (Nick) III and one great grandson, Carson.
Services will be held at 3 pm on December 16th at the Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral and Event Center, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association for research.
