Born in Koblenz, Germany in 1941, Adolf moved to North Vancouver in 1975 with his young family, in pursuit of his engineering career designing piping systems, and later working for HP computers.
Adolf passed away on October 13, 2026, and leaves behind his beloved wife, Waltraud, his sons, Fabian and Oliver (Kelsey) and grandsons, Lewis and Bowen.
His sharp intellect was matched only by his kindness and eccentric sense of humour. He had a love of travel and amassed an enormous spice collection from the places he visited. His pickle collection was also impressive!
