Dear Sheila and Family:  It is with a great deal of sadness that we learned of Al's passing. We have so many memories of times when he was my boss and served as my inspiration and friend. As you know we moved East. We do not make frequent trips West as we would like. Al will always be someone we admired and enjoyed spending time with.

Hi Sheila, David, Grant and Douglas. We were so sorry to learn that Al has passed away. He was such and kind soul and gentleman. We had lost touch however his spirit has always remained strong with Linda and I. 
Some of the happiest days that Linda and I had are when I worked at Thomas and Betts for Al Lamont. At one of the Electrical industries functions (A baseball tournament dance), Al sat with a group of folk's, one of them was Linda, Al introduced me to Linda and told her what a great guy I was. He continued to tell her how nice of a fellow that I was for the rest of the evening. Little did we know that Linda and I would be married several years later and have a son that we are very proud of. All thanks  to Al Lamont!
We know Al will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Dear Aunt Sheila, Doug, Grant and David, 
We have many fond memories of spending time in Gibsons with you and Uncle Al and will always remember how welcome you made us, even when we arrived with sleepless infants in tow. It was never too much trouble to take a walk with the kids or run into town (particularly if there was some excuse to stop for fudge). I wish we could be with you on Saturday; please know that you're in our hearts. We are so very sorry for your loss.

For Sheila, David, Douglas, Grant and all who loved Al. I am so sorry for your loss. You were all such a huge part of my life for so long and I was so saddened to hear the news of Al's passing. I said my own special prayer for him when I found out. I will always remember Al's "Wee Bricks", the rides and the winter night spent on the "Tug" and his strong arm lovingly protecting his beloved desserts. He will be loved, remembered and missed always.
