Anne (Pearson) Goodsell

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anne Goodsell on April 6, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband (Gary), her children Steven (Michelle), Connie (Derrick), and Lynn (Patrick); her grandchildren Trinity, Winston, Danica, Alana (Brendan), Teresa, and Kyle; and her great grandsons, Harrison and Maddox. She is predeceased her mother, Connie (Wood) Pearson, and her father, John Pearson.

Anne was born November 28, 1943, in London, England. Her first years were during troubled war times; her home was even bombed. At age 11, she moved with her family to Canada. She started in Winnipeg, then Vancouver, followed by Deep Cove, Delta, and a move to Vancouver Island. Her final move was from Mission back to North Vancouver, where she felt most at home. She loved the Northshore mountains, the water ways, and sitting at Cates Park watching the ocean waves.

Anne was a devoted Catholic, always making time for mass and her daily rosary. She loved her family and going on adventures with Gary, her spouse of 63 years. Anne worked as an x-ray technician for many years and then in a veterinary clinic. Her passion was dogs; she appreciated their companionship and unconditional love. During her hospital stay, she was delighted by furry friends who dropped by to visit; along with the amazing family and friends who came to support her.

Anne will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral service will be held at St Pius X Church on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 10:30 am, followed by reception in the church hall.
