Anna (Annie) Nazaretz(nee Cieslar) was welcomed into the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Survived by her three beloved daughters: Lydia (Jim), Wanda (Del), and Renie (Hans); five grandchildren: Dan (Wendy), Glenn (Sonja), Nancy (Dave), Katrina (Daniel) and Marlisa; six great-grandchildren: Jared, Seth (Jessica), Joshua, Victoria (Stephen), Joel and Lindsay; one sister: Helen (Ron); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Paul Cieslar and Eva Sikora; two sisters: Eva (Walter), and Sue (Joe); and one brother: Paul (Marjorie). Annie was born October 1, 1919 in Milikov, Czech Republic, emigrated to Canada in 1936, and has resided in the greater Vancouver area since 1967. She was a hard worker, a good provider of her family, a strong supporter of the Church and various Christian ministries, a great encourager to all, and a diligent prayer warrior. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Blessed indeed," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labours, for their deeds follow them!" (Revelation 14: 13)
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, 2PM, at Boal Chapel 1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be to St Paul’s Hospital Heart Centre.
