SMITH, Carolyn “June”, September 20, 1937 – February 18, 2022. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June Smith, predeceased by her husband Roger, and beloved by her children Clark (Kari), Kirsten Mortensen (Paul) and Shelley, grandchildren Nicole, Bradley, Jeromy and Lucas and great grandchildren Kailen, Sylas, Alyssa, and Raina.
June was employed for over 20 years as a probation officer for the BC Gov’t where she made many friends. After retiring she and husband Roger worked as commercial fishermen for 20 years in the summer and truly retired during the winter months in Palm Springs.
June will be remembered as a kind, caring, tenacious, lovely woman. Donations in her memory can be made to Vancouver Coastal Health.
