Mr. Chad David Horton

August 19, 1975May 18, 2018

It is with such sadness and heartache, that we announce the passing of our dear son Chad. He is predeceased by his Father David, just 5 months ago, and missed beyond words by his Mother, Mary Ann, Uncle Erle (Joann), Aunt Dale (Barry), Uncle Ray, and their families; as well as his mentor and “Brother” Bryan. Chad grew up in Deep Cove, and will be deeply missed by so many life-long friends. Chad’s family and friends were the most precious part of his life. We hold with us, fond memories of Chad; several years spent on the soccer field, boating, waterskiing, summers at the cottage on Wood Lake, and travelling in Europe and Africa. Chad was encouraged to get further education in business, and eventually advanced his career in the garment industry, with Horton Berner Fashion Group, where he built lasting friendships. Chad had a wonderful smile, was known for his energy, big heart, and enthusiasm; traits that have been shown in the many tributes shared. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 6th at 2 p.m. at Mt. Seymour Golf & Country Club, 3723 Mt. Seymour Parkway, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation. “The smile that is never forgotten, and the love that is treasured forever.”

Dear Mary-Ann and Friends

Road trips, late night meals, garment bags, sharing dodgy Motels rooms, steaming samples, getting lost in the Mountains ...All of this was somehow made into an epic adventure in Chad's company.

My 'little brother' entrusted to Ursula and I to show him the ropes in turn showed me laughter and cheekiness and a deep sense of family and love.

Always in my heart, I'll think of you often and smile

God Bless xx

Love from the Munchkin
