Family was her joy.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Christa Josepha McLeod, who passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
Born in Stettler, Alberta, Christa was a strong, independent, and resilient woman whose determination and warmth left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She spent most of her married life in West Vancouver, where she built a loving home and created many cherished memories with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald A. McLeod, in 2017.
Christa is lovingly remembered by her two children Catherine (Tom), and Bruce (Julia) and her four grandchildren, Graham, Caelan, Lucas, and Madeline, all of whom had the privilege of knowing her and being adored by her. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering independence will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to those who supported and cared for her throughout her life.
