Christopher Dan Briese passed away peacefully on October 15,2023 after a long and challenging fight against biliary duct cancer. The GI, Emergency and Palliative staff at St Paul's not only knew Chris by first name, they cared for him like family. These talented and compassionate doctors, nurses, and technicians were exceptional every step of way through his 18 month journey.
Chris was 57 years old.
Chris is survived by his spouse Valerie (McIlroy),his mother Mary and sister Heather as well as his Aunt Brenda and Uncle Bob DeRoos from Salt Spring Island.
He was a resident of the West End for 25 yrs. His many friends can attest to his passion for tennis in Stanley Park. For over 20+ years, Chris worked in sales for Trail Appliances in a variety of locations and most recently in the North Vancouver store.
