

Born on July 9th, Chris was a devoted husband, beloved son, loyal friend, caring son in law, the cool uncle, and someone who brought light, laughter, and deep compassion to everyone he met. He shared 12 incredible years with his wife, Jessica Wilken, whom he married in October 2023, Their bond was one of deep friendship, humor, and unwavering love.
Chris had a way of lighting up every room he walked into. His laugh — rich and unforgettable — would carry through the halls for all to hear. He was always smiling, always finding joy, even while quietly fighting battles of his own. His resilience, kindness, and humor made him a safe place for those who knew him. His love for Jessica, his friends, and his family was constant, fierce, and true
He practically spoke in movie quotes, song lyrics, and memes — crafting his own hilarious and heartfelt language that those close to him understood instinctively. If you didn’t know the reference, he’d be more than happy to act it out. It wasn’t just funny — it was so Chris: thoughtful, expressive, and always trying to make someone smile.
Chris will be remembered for his kind heart, his quick wit, and his ability to make anyone feel seen and valued. He had a way of making ordinary days feel special, and his presence left an impact that words can barely express.
He is survived by his wife Jessica, mother Dawn, his sisters Amanda and Chelsey, his Oma Ingrid, his Aunt Gisele and his mother in law and father in law Michelle and Robert Sinclair, as well as many dear friends which there are too many to name who were like family to him. He was predeceased by his father Roy. Chris’s sudden passing has left a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
A funeral service will be held at First Memorial Boal Gardens, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver on August 9th, 2025 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow.
Cremation will be held following the services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be to BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services in his honor.
