She specialized in dysphasia and support equipment for adults with disabilities in the Lower Mainland; and Occupational Therapy needs for children in Burnaby Schools. She also was active with Girl Guides by volunteering as a Leader and acting as a Camp Advisor; through this she made life long friends.
With her family, she enjoyed hiking, canoeing and kyacking all over British Columbia. She travelled the world throughout her life and scuba dived with her husband and children. She was an avid reader and a social butterfly. She believed in self determination, supporting the vulnerable and the importance of loyalty within a loving family.
