I am shocked to learn of Darren‘s passing. I was informed that he was taking time away from work to focus on his health and never doubted for a moment that he would come back as strong as ever. Darren had commitment, strength & passion. He leaves a big hole. 

My deepest condolences to his family, friends and coworkers.

We were saddened to hear that Darren has succumbed to this disease. Darren had been our adviser for more than 15 years and  , having been a colon cancer survivor myself, considered him a friend as well as an inspiration. It was obvious to anyone first meeting Darren that he had integrity and inspired confidence and trust. He chose to make his fight against cancer public and, in doing so, undoubtedly  helped others dispel the embarrassment that prevents many from seeking early treatment. You will be missed Darren.
