David Barry Firth

David Barry Firth, 83, of Richmond BC died on November 18, 2025 at Richmond General Hospital.

He was born on July 6, 1942 in North Vancouver, BC

He was predeceased by his parents James Bruce Firth, Bertha Helen Firth, Younger brother Ken Firth and Nephew Matthew Cardin.

David is survived by his wife Pajita Guzman Firth. Step-Daughter Precy Koo (Jason) Step Grandchildren: Janine Koo (Mitchell) and Jonah Koo. Sister Nancy Cardin (Rod), Niece Lindsay Wilson (Brent), Grand Niece and Nephew Ava and Eli Wilson. Sister-In-Law Penny Firth and Nephew and Niece Troy and Tammy Firth.

David had Stage 4 Lung Cancer which unfortunately continued to spread throughout his body. He fought the courageous battle always remaining positive, smiling and never complaining.

David worked at Telus Communications as a Production Manager for 36 years! He retired in 2007 with a stellar career; respected by his peers and employees. While working at Telus, David also owned and operated with his partner David Oliver an Aviation School for 10 years.. He was a fully licensed Commercial Pilot and was an Instructor at their school.

David loved the outdoors. He introduced camping life to his wife, children and grandchildren; our favourite campground - Gallagher Lake. He would go on his annual hunting and fishing trip with his buddies to 60 Mile House while enjoying a pint of beer at the end of the day!

He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all that loved him.
