Although I didn't know Don, I found it interesting that he met his wife of so many years at the Lonsdale Theatre. My grandfather, William John IRWIN, built Lonsdale and it opened Nov. 11, 1911. I have the photo that was taken from the stage on opening night.

As I read the obituary I realized that if my grandfather hadn't built that theatre, the meeting likely would never have taken place, and the rich life that was described would have been completely different - likely with someone else.
