Eileen Ruth Goldney gently passed away on June 22, 2026, at the Lynn Valley Care Centre in North Vancouver. She is survived by her daughter, Mariette MacLeod, son-in-law, Douglas MacLeod, her grandsons, Kyle and Ewan MacLeod, their spouses, Rebecca and Briana, and her great grandchildren, Bronson, Lanaia, Callan and Clara. Eileen was predeceased by her son Willard Robert Dunlop. Born at Lions Gate Hospital on June 10, 1929, Eileen lived her life in North Vancouver. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandsons and great grandchildren. She was an active member of Saint Martin’s Anglican Church for ninety years. Deep friendships were developed through such activities as walking groups, Keep Well classes, Tai Chi and seniors’ activities at Molly Nye House.
