It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved Mom, Sister, Nanna, and "G.G." as she moves on to rejoin her husband Glenn, and other loved ones.
Missing her but filled with treasured memories is her daughter Lori (Jerry), son John (Gemma), brother Michael (Anita), grandchildren Maile (Justin), Jeremy, Justin, Glenn, Leilani, and Enrico and great-grandchildren Kailani, Makoa and Kaleo.
Betty will also be fondly remembered by friends, extended family, neighbours, and her St. Augustine's parish.
Born in Alert Bay, B.C., Betty loved the West Coast with its rugged beaches. As a lifelong teacher with a passion for primary education, she was always looking for a "teachable moment."
Mom, you have taught us so much and your legacy of love, tradition, Canada, and "all things British" will continue to live on and be celebrated. We will always cherish the memories of family beach days at Point Roberts and our evening walks.
Love you always. xoxo
"To the absent ones!"
Special thanks to neighbours Al (and Joanne) Logan and Mom's longtime family physician, Dr. Monte Glanzberg.
If desired a donation to Mom's longtime charity "Operation Eyesight" would be appreciated. https://operationeyesight.com/
