her at this time.
Florence was born on a farm near the small town of Young Saskatchewan on March 12,1913. She was the fourth of six children born to
Adolf and Helga Soderberg. As a young woman she moved to Saskatoon to work and here she met her future husband Egon Olofson.
They married in December 1940 - and daughter Diane was born in 1944. Egon served in the Canadian army and when the war was over
the family moved to Lethbridge, Alberta. Egon passed away in 1979 and Florence continued to live in Lethbridge until 1985 when she
moved to North Vancouver to live closer to Diane and her family.
Florence was predeceased by her parents, her husband Egon, her brothers Ted and Art, her sisters Svea, Violet and Vivian and her son-in-
law Craig Clarke.
Family meant the world to Florence. She loved deeply and was loved dearly. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Diane, her
treasured grandchildren
Krista (Corbin) and Ross (Aran), her darling great-granddaughters Taylor, Alicia, Savannah and Macy as well as many very special nieces
and nephews.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of 1 South Evergreen for the kindness and care which they gave to Florence over the past
four years.
At her request there will not be a service.
