I'm so sorry to hear of this tragedy and that I did not hear in time to attend the service and pay my respects.  Frank was definitely my favorite science teacher in spite of the fact I didn't like science.  He made sure I got through and earned my dogwood.  I remember waiting for the school bus at Brackendale Elem. when Nadine began as a teacher there she always greeted me with a lovely smile. She struck me as such a beautiful woman that a few years later when I heard they were dating, I remembered thinking "now there's a perfect couple".  I'm so glad they had so many years and heartsick for the missed ones to come.  I'm praying for Nadine and girls and  trust they will feel the Lord's comfort in many unique ways every time they venture outdoors into the wilderness God created and  Frank loved to share with them.

I understand that Frank got one more helicopter ride in before his passing...unfortunately on the way to the hospital, but I think he would have appreciated it, nonetheless.

Frank was a colleague of mine at Magma Energy and a pioneer in B.C.'s geothermal energy industry.  He recommended and encouraged me to join the company, but what he didn't know was that one of the best things I got out of my experience there, was to spend time with him.  

Rest in peace, Frank and thanks so much for sharing all the stories you did.  I feel honoured to have known you.

Frank was a great geotechnical engineer. He gave top notch and practical advice on several run of river hydro projects throughout B.C. He was a delightful character - full of warmth, humour and good cheer. The IPP industry in B.C. will miss him.

I will always remember Frank as a wonderful High School science teacher, and, more importantly, a kind, compassionate human being who genuinely cared for people. Rest In Peace, Mr. Baumann.

Nadine, Katherine, Julia & Amy - thank you for sharing your thoughts and happy memories of your husband and dad with us this morning. It was a beautiful and touching service that truly celebrated Frank's life. I served with him on the Kawkawa board and always appreciated his sincere desire to express and share his life's mission statement.

Frank generously helped a group of homeowners in Lillooet recently. He lent us his expertise and asked for nothing in return. We are saddened by his loss. Our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Frank and I went to JR.FOREST WARDENS together. So sorry for your lose.

Frank, you were the cornerstone of so many wonderful memories for so many friends. You will be greatly missed.
