It is with sadness we announce the passing of Gerda Dykhof. She passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the age of 92. She is predeceased by her husband, Hein in 1991. Gerda is survived by her son, Henry (Maria) Dykhof; daughter Ineke (John) Milligan; granddaughter Kelly Milligan; grandson Trevor (Erica) Milligan; grandson Kevin (Natasha) Milligan; and great-grandchildren, Braydon, Sheldon, Grace, Jonah, and Chase. She is also survived by her nephew, John Kuiper and his wife Lucita. Gerda and Hein immigrated to Canada in 1953 and in 1957 established the Dykhof Nursery in North Vancouver. At work, many new her as "Mrs. D". Gerda always said she had a very good life and enjoyed her family so much. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, 11:00AM at St. Stephen's Parish, 1360 East 24th Street, North Vancouver followed by burial in North Vancouver Cemetery and reception at the Boal Chapel.
