Hans Ulrich Laser

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hans Ulrich Laser on June 16, 2026 at the age of 93.

Hans was born on June 6, 1933 in Tilsit, Prussia and lived a long life marked by dedication to his Family, hard work, and resilience. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will continue through the generations of his family.

Hans was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia, whose love and companionship were a source of joy throughout their years together.

He is lovingly remembered by his son Michael (Teresa), Sandy (Don), and his treasured grandchildren Tammy, Ken (Aja), Kristin, and Sean, Corky the pet cockatoo, as well as close family friend Rob Bonn. Hans was also a proud great-grandfather to four(4) great-grandchildren and was blessed to welcome a great-great- grandchild into the Family. Each brought him immense pride and happiness.

Hans will be missed by Family and Friends around the world and remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering devotion to his Family. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures like dancing, listening to music, and cooking for his family and friends. His sense of humour, joy of life, and love of family will be remembered and cherished.

The Family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who provided care at the Creekstone Care Centre in North Vancouver.
