Originally from Edmonton, then moving to Red Deer and Calgary Alberta her home has been on the North Shore for the last 54 years.
Helen’s faith in Jesus was very important to her and she was devoted to her church at the Salvation Army North Shore. Helen worked serving at many North Shore restaurants, was a nanny and managed the pet department at Woolco as well as being a homemaker for her family. After retiring she became a Soldier at the Salvation Army and spent many years volunteering by serving at the Over 60’s club, working in the kitchen and serving meals for the community meals program and manning the Salvation Army Kettles.
She made many friends along the way and her giving heart and sweet ways will be missed by friends and family. Her loyalty and devotion to family will be forever cherished and we look forward to the time we will meet her again.
