Mae met her sweetheart Franklin at the age of three in Kitsilano where they both grew up and eventually married. After graduating from Fairview High School of Commerce she worked as a legal secretary before they moved to North Vancouver and raised their three daughters. She eventually returned to work securing a job with a tour company which also offered opportunities to travel to all parts of the world. Besides travelling Mae was a lover of art, music, and opera.
Special thanks to all the caregivers over the last few years who brightened Mae’s life and attended to her needs while she continued living in the original family home as was her wish.
