i listen your last cd and when i play it, i cry at the sheer beauty contained in it... just like your songs, your life was not nearly long enough. but thank you for the time you did grace us with your musick and your self.

Thanks so much for being there Just, on stage, off stage, back stage, and a few times building stages. That said, we both went through many states, and you were always a guiding light, inspiring and full of love and learning. I've still not fully processed this, nor unlikely will I or anyone else, you were so important to us. From almost right away when I moved to this cold unfriendly city, you were there with a hand out, and as the years (ten now!) Moved on, I found to my great joy, that we were crossing paths even more than social or music scenes, and now all those scenes will seem bare without you. Hanging out at festivals was one of my favourite things about the season. Now I'll carry forward with that because no matter what, the show must go on, right? Just not like it used to. 
Your work on the show will never be forgotten, nor will your inspiration to get it done. Thanks so incredibly much Jer, this won't get easier, but I doesn't have to. Love you so much man.

Say hi to Bowie

We meet when we were teenagers and were friends our entire adult life through thick and thin in Vancouver and Toronto. It shatters my heart that I will never hear his distinctive, out of control laugh again or spend another day or night wandering with him. Never have another long talk or ramble about our big dreams. I can't believe he is gone and the only comfort is that so many of us seemed to love him. A huge hole is left in people's hearts and the scenes he shone in. I will never be ok with this. I will never not miss you, Jeremy. Love you forever, Shmeek. I am so proud of who you were.

I will miss you Jeremy, you were a mensch. It's going to be so weird never seeing you again. 
My condolences to the family, I hope the fact that Jeremy was so appreciated by so many gives you at least a little comfort in this time.

I'm struggling to comprehend the loss of Jeremy Inkel. I haven't seen him much in the last few years, but there were many years where he was a regular presence in my social life. There were, of course, many parties and gigs and just hanging out starting some time in the early 2000s. For many years, we had a regular Monday night ritual of watching WWE wrestling. A bunch of us would get together at whoever's place was available and get "happy" and laugh at the insanity of grown men beating each other up in stupid costumes. My place was host to dozens of these evenings and Jeremy was usually present and accounted for. He was always good for a laugh and shared the off-beat sense of humour that we all shared. He was a lot younger than me and most of the gang that hung together at that time. He was in his late teens when I first met him, so we often jokingly referred to him as "the boy" (a reference to Wesley from ST:NG). I enjoyed having a younger perspective around and he was always easy going and friendly with me. We had a lot of laughs over the years. He was just someone I figured would be around a lot longer and it's left me rather stunned to think that he's suddenly not here anymore.

Thanks for a lot of fun times over the years, Jeremy.

I was saddened to have heard of Jeremy's unexpected passing. I will always remember Jeremy as the enthusiastic care free kid (aka "The Boy") I met so many years ago. He was an incredibly bright and talented person that I will miss dearly. My condolences to his family.

I'll always remember Jeremy as the bright-eyed, blue haired young kid I met 15 years ago. He was always such a ray of light whenever i ran into him. Condolences to the family.
