Sheila, Dick and family - I am so very sorry for to hear of Laura's passing.  I have many memories of our times together in our high school years.  My thoughts are with you all.

I am so very saddened to hear of Laura's passing.  From Queensbury Elementary as children through the years to North Van Central Little League with our own kids,  my memories of Laura will always be held dear to my heart.  I am so sorry, words cannot express adequately how I feel. My thoughts are with all of you.

My thoughts are with you Mr.and Mrs. Acaster (can't get away from the growing up names), Debbie, Brian and Brad. I am sorry for your loss.  My fondest memories of Laura are from Hamilton Jr. High. I remember Laura to be a great athlete and she made for lots of laughs on the teams. Laura was known affectionately by her friends as "Moose".  We had many good times in the 'hood' and especially at the Cortell House. Wherever Laura is... I see a smile on her face.

Laura was, and always will be a person of true character! She was not only an amazing employee of the district, but set an example to those who worked with her, parents who were lucky enough to know her and especially to the children who were under her care and honored enough to have experienced her being. She changed the lives of many, myself and my son included. Her generous spirit, brilliant sense of humour, and non judgmental way, allowed others to grow and become better people. I will never forget what she did for us. She helped shape my son while away from me at school, and there would be no one better I could have asked to do so.  We send our heartfelt thoughts to the family.

Laura will be so deeply missed at her school, Seymour Heights. She was full of mischief, laughter, and life. That makes it all the more shocking that she is no longer with us. My deepest condolences to her family, whom she loved with a passion.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Laura's passing. 
What an inspiration Laura was in dealing with her illness... never loosing that positive spirit which attracted everyone to her. Laura was such a proud mom and loyal friend, I will miss her enthusiam
watching hockey games, the talks we shared and that great sense of humour.

My most precious memory of Laura is when she was a little girl & couldn't swim. We were all at Tuc-el-Nuit lake camping and she would just jump off the wharf with no fear. She knew Daddy was right there to grab her from under the water and put her back on the wharf so she could just jump in again. I will never forget her laugh.

Laura was our son, Chris' SEA at Seymour Heights.  She was like a member of our family.  I'm so glad that our lives were touched by her, she was an amazing person.  Our sincerest sympathy to her family during this difficult time.

To Laura's whole family, I am so sorry and shocked to hear of her passing.  Although I haven't seen Laura for many years I have a lot of wonderful memories of our times together back when we were in Hamilton Junior High.  I'll always remember the pink lemonade that was always in the fridge at the Acaster home on Cortell and how welcome Dick and Sheila always made us kids feel.  A lot of wonderful memories of those days when life was so much simpler.
