Lionel Henry LeSage

LESAGE – Lionel (Leo) Henry. Passed away on August 28, 2025 at the age of 94. He was born in Vancouver B.C. on May 29, 1931, second son of Norman and Dorothy LeSage. Lionel will always be remembered as a loyal and loving father and husband. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Beverly and his sister Carole; his children, Brian (Paula), son-in-law David, Mark (Patti) and Scott (Aimee); his grandchildren, Cameron (Marie), Jana (Aaron), Robyn, Jaime (Brandon), Sara (David), Nicole (Greg), Christopher, Jennifer, Tyler and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Leo, Guillaume, Henry, Evelyn, Madison, Nolan and Nathan; Beverly’s children Debbie (Don) and Linda (Fausto), her five grandchildren and their spouses and her 12 great grandchildren. He is pre-deceased by his first wife, Patricia, and their daughter, Wendi, his brothers Norm, Larry, Bill and sister Marie. Following his graduation from Vancouver College, Leo worked for Morton Clarke and Co. Distribution and Hudson Bay Vending . He also started Advance Vending, with his brothers, Norm and Bill. Following retirement he worked part-time with his niece, Rosie and her husband, Al, at J.B. Newall Memorials, Ltd. The immediate family will gather at a later date to celebrate his life. The family would like to thank the staff at Peace Arch Hospital for their care and attention to Dad/Grandad/Great Grandad in his final days.
