It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Jayne Geldart on June 19th, 2026 at the age of 67.
Known affectionately as “Moe”and “Grandmo,” Maureen was a force. Strong, resilient, and full of life, she had an infectious laugh that could brighten a room.
Often described as a beautiful soul, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, strength, and generous heart. She faced life’s challenges with determination, and those who knew her will remember her for her sense of humour, her fierce spirit, and the love she shared so freely.
She leaves behind her daughters, Amanda and Kim, and her granddaughter, Evelyn (“Evie”). She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the memories, laughter, and love she leaves behind. Her strength will continue to inspire us, and her memory will live on in the stories we share and the lives she touched.
