Melissa Maria Toselli, an ever-loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 24, 2026.
Born in the Philippines in 1961, Melissa shared her childhood among five brothers and two loving parents. In her early teenage years, she moved with her family to Vancouver, Canada. After graduating UBC with an Education Degree, she devoted her early years to giving her love and care to those in Special Education.
At this time, she met her future husband, Angelo Toselli, and together, they wed in Vancouver. Soon having three children, Melissa transitioned her career from teaching to being an ever-compassionate mother of her family. As time passed, Melissa and Angelo moved to Calgary and helped establish a life that was centered around family and faith.
After the children graduated university, Melissa and Angelo decided to move back to North Vancouver where Melissa dedicated her time to be the caretaker of Angelo. After Angelo’s passing in 2024, Melissa was comforted by her family in the next couple years as her health declined.
On September 24, 2026, God called Melissa into his final embrace.
Melissa is survived by her three beloved children, children-in-law, and grandchildren: Dominic Toselli (Monica Toselli with grandchild, Ariana), Chiara Toselli (Jarred Thomas with grandchild Lucy, and soon-to-be-grandchild, Eva), and Francis Toselli (Josha Nicdao).
