In Loving Memory

We are deeply saddened to announce that Nancy Effie Boitson ( Glowach ) passed away peacefully on July 07, 2026.

Nancy was the first child born to Michael and Jessie Glowach on April 29, 1944 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Right from a young age, Nancy developed the values of a deep love for family, a strong work ethic and kindness, that would guide her throughout her life. She had a welcoming smile, a caring heart and a gift for making others feel at home whenever in her presence.

Nancy’s biggest delight was bringing joy to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends and all of those that knew her. Though her presence is gone from our lives, the love she shared, the lessons she taught, the bellies she filled and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her cherished parents Michael and Jessie Glowach and Father in-law and Mother in-law Steve and Stella Boitson.

Nancy's legacy continues to thrive in the hearts that she leaves behind. Devoted husband of 63 years Archie, son Michael, sisters Mildred ( AI ), Valarie ( Harold ), Eleanor ( Richard ), Delilah ( Kerrin ), and brother Randy ( Penny ) as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends, of which she had many.

One of Nancy's most proudest achievements was her managerial position at Woolco/Walmart where she worked for 40+ years. She also got great joy from her many vacations with family and friends traveling throughout Canada and the United States, camping and morel picking with family. She also enjoyed classic country music and listening to Daniel O'Donnell.

Nancy’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. Her legacy is one of compassion, selflessness, and unconditional love. A legacy that will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements have been made.

In Lieu of flowers, Archie and Mike respectfully request that memorial donations be made in memory of Nancy Boitson to one of the following:
