August 30, 1936 - July 28, 2024
It is with great sadness to announce that Norma Janet Smith (Gould) at the age of 87 passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2024.
Norma was born in Turner Valley, Alberta on August 30, 1936, to parents, Elmo Gould and Janet Logie. She and her 6 siblings grew up in White Rock, BC. She and Peter raised their 4 boys in the Richmond Steveston area and was a Nursing Unit Clerk at the Richmond Hospital for over 30 years.
Norma will join her loving husband of 55 years, Peter John Smith (January 23, 1934 – April 12, 2017) and her son James (September 14, 1967 – September 18, 2018). She will be dearly missed by her sons, Colin, Douglas and Robert. Norma will fondly be remembered by her grandchildren, Julian, Lauren, Hayden and Landon and her daughter in-laws, Caterina, Lori and Cynthia.
A celebration of life is to be arranged.
