January 6, 1938 - September 25,2025
Patricia Coker was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce Coker and her parents, Marge and Harry Goodwin.
Born and educated in Toronto, Patricia built an early career as an interior designer, where her creativity and her eye for detail quickly set her apart. She and Bruce moved to Vancouver for new opportunities and to build a life of love, joy and success. Patricia seamlessly brought her talents West, becoming known as one of the top interior designers in the city. Many people speak fondly of the experience of working with Patricia and the joy that she brought to helping them create their homes.
Patricia and Bruce settled in North Vancouver, where they raised their two boys Jim and Jeffrey. She lived life, big and true to herself - her presence was larger than life. She was known for her big smile, big waves, big hats, and big dogs as she drove through town in her convertible, top down. Patricia was also a stand-in mother figure too many teenagers over the years, always ready to lend a hand or an ear to her boys' friends.
Her neighborhood in the Sarita area became a close knit community of lifelong friends who were woven into the fabric of her daily life and who remained exceptionally important to her. Patricia will be dearly missed by her son Jim, his wife, Jean, and their four children whom she adored Makena, Sawyer, Saxon, and Lachlan, as well as by her son Jeff, her sister Linda and her husband Jim, and her cousins James and Stewart Halliday. She lived a rich vibrant life surrounded by love, friendship and laughter and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
