Paul grew up in Toronto surrounded by cousins, aunts and uncles, and later four brothers and sisters. He worked as a copywriter at some of the biggest advertising agencies and later for himself. In 1963 he met and married Jennifer and they spent a year travelling Europe before settling in North Toronto and raising Wendy and Jonathan. He continued to live in Toronto following Jennifer's death in 1999, moving to North Vancouver to live with Wendy, her husband Kevin and grandsons Miles and Paul in 2021.
Throughout his life he loved driving: race or rally cars, motorcycles or Volkswagen campers. He often combined travel with his interest in photography and videography. A master of words, Paul was known for his sharp wit and endless supply of puns that often required explanation to be understood by anyone beyond their creator. In addition to his humor, Paul enjoyed music, spending hours creating and refining compositions that he would name with a typically unrelated title.
What else to say about a man who had so many interests in his long life? Maybe you have a story?
