As a young man, Peter, worked in the Canadian Arctic for the Hudson Bay Co. and later the DEW line. He enjoyed traveling and met first wife Elsa in Palma Majorca.
Peter settled in Vancouver and worked for many years at Simon Fraser University as the Facilities Manager for the library. It was at SFU that he met his wife of 30 years, Marlene. Peter and Marlene lived In Fairview in Vancouver for many years though the last 10 years they resided in Chilliwack.
Last year after valiant fight Peter lost his wife to cancer. On September 23, 2019, Peter lost his brave and optimistic fight to cancer.

Peter is survived by his three step-daughters, Kathy (Dennis), Karen (Bruce) and Joanne. He is survived by his grandchildren Tyrell, Shane, Justin (Cassie) and Devon. He is survived by his newly reunited daughter Kelly and her two sons. He is also survived by beloved relatives and friends.
A private family Internment is being held at Boal Memorial Gardens.
