I was sad to learn of Ray's passing and send my sincere condolenses to June and his family/
I remember Ray as the opening bat of the Rondebosch first cricket X1 playing with boys who were mostly 2 years older.He was a determined player who quickly wore the shine off the new ball and was often the top scorer in the side.
