He suffered from health problems for many years but he never lost his sense of humour.
Robert was born in Dos Palos, Ca.
He joined the US Marine Corp and while stationed in San Diego he met his wife Linda.
After being discharged from service due to a back injury he moved to Vancouver.
Robert is survived by Linda, sons Robert, Ian and Scott and their partners Kirsty, Teresa and Michelle.
He loved his grandchildren Kailee, Josie, Johanna, Emmett and Elias, his sister Cara and nieces and nephews in California.
Robert volunteered in youth sports in GSL, Windsor Football and Seymour Baseball.
He loved BC and enjoyed fishing and enjoying the beautiful rivers of BC, and the ocean in Parksville on Vancouver Island.
Donations welcomed for the B. C. Heart and Stroke Association.
